Your first crossing

Huss Valley is a tag game: Runners try to reach the opposite end while Chasers try to catch them. Roonby’s October 4 guide describes three successful crossings as the Runner win condition. Players who are caught can swell the Chaser team, so an opening with one Chaser plays very differently from a later crossing with several.

  1. Practice before the round

Use the lobby or AFK practice area to get comfortable accelerating and turning. A straight sprint is easy to read; learn a lateral dash before adding more tricks.

  2. Build forward momentum

On PC, hold W. Tap A or D while still holding W, release the side key, and press Space. This is ItzVexo’s narrated sideways-forward dash sequence.

  3. Read the opening

With few Chasers, move with a loose group and choose a lane that is not already being watched. Change direction before entering reach; do not wait until you are touching the Chaser.

  4. Make the next decision

Once safely across, reassess. A downed teammate can be revived, but a rescue near a waiting Chaser or the boundary may turn one catch into two. Skip a floor Gem if the detour closes your safe route.

  1. Read the opening

Spot the Chasers and choose a lane with room to turn.

  2. Cross with control

Build momentum, juke and keep your route open.

  3. Reassess

Check rescue and pickup conditions before committing again.

Crowd crossing or Hero?

NoobBlox recommends trying Hero early, when there are few Chasers. CHALLS describes Hero as a crossing you take alone. As catches add more Chasers, the same open field becomes harder to cover safely.

The movement that matters

Momentum means movement takes time to build and does not disappear the instant you release a key. Practice accelerating, steering, dashing, then stopping as separate actions. Roonby’s guide lists Alt for an instant stop and E for interaction or revival on PC. Videos do not establish every exact binding, so follow the prompt in your current client.

Choose an ability for your role

The lowest listed Runner price in the inspected guide is Pocket Door at 400 Gems. The lowest listed Chaser price is Rocket Shoes at 850 Gems. A door helps create room during a chase; shoes help close a gap. Choose the result you need before spending.

Gems and Coins have different jobs

Guides distinguish permanent ability spending from single-use consumables: Gems go toward abilities; Coins go toward consumables. Match performance can reward currency, and videos show or narrate floor Gem pickups during crossings. No inspected source establishes a reliable Gems-per-minute rate.

Looking for codes?

No redeemable code for this exact game was established in the inspected official material. The October 5 Pro Game Guides code report lists no active or expired codes and reports no redemption system. Other experiences also use the Huss Valley name, so a code list without the matching creator and place ID can send you to the wrong game.

Before the next round

Quick questions.

Why do I keep moving after letting go?
The guides describe gradual deceleration. Practice a stop and a new direction in the lobby before relying on a brake close to a Chaser. Read the braking drill.
Should I try Hero straight away?
Creators describe Hero as going alone and favor an early opening with fewer Chasers. Practice your movement and find an open lane first. Compare the Hero conditions.
Does the cheapest ability make it the right choice?
Choose the effect your role needs. The guide-listed Pocket Door creates an obstacle; Rocket Shoes closes a gap. Price alone does not predict a win. Compare effects and limitations.
Where do I redeem a Huss Valley code?
No redeem interface or active code for this exact game was established in the inspected sources. Match the creator before following a same-name list. Read the dated status and identity check.
